“Vikingaleden” (St Olav Waterway) is a stretch through the beautiful Swedish landscape from the town of Säfle to the town of Arvika.
Arvika has Sweden’s innermost harbor and you can reach the city by passing lakes, canalsystems and locks. The waterways and harbor have always been important for Arvika and the development of the area.
From lake Vänern the waterway follows Byälven and the lock in Säffle, the lakes Harefjorden, Björnöfjorden and Glafsfjorden – a distance of 43,2 NM.
